Illustrated account of the individuals and families helped by her donations in and around the city of Florence, Italy, where the Alexander family resided. Vellum binding, with "S.S.R." in gold on the cover. With an 11 p. letter to Elizabeth Russell Lyman dated 1905 Feb. 11, Florence, from Lucia Gray Alexander, reminiscing about Boston, the old Hancock House and Gardner Brewer, and discussing Francesca Alexander's works of charity among the poor in Florence.
